2027 APPLICATION PROCESS TIMELINE

• January – May: Applications & Aptitude Tests
• July: Interviews
• August: Prerequisites
• September: Classes Begin

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

You must provide the following documents:
• Birth Certificate
• Valid TEXAS Driver's License
• Social Security Card
• High School Diploma with official transcript OR GED with official transcript
• DD-214 (if applicable – military veterans only)

You must also meet the following requirements:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be able to obtain a Class A CDL Driver's License
• Pass a DISA background check
• Pass a DISA hair follicle drug test
• Pass a Fit for Duty evaluation

IMPORTANT: APPLICATION EXPIRATION

All applications expire after 90 days. If your application expires before the 2027 process begins, you will need to reapply or call our office to request resubmission of your existing application.
